Hanna Elizabeth Young was born in England, to a German mother and British father. From an early age, it was unmistakable that her heart and passion belonged to music.
Inspired by the expressive power of the vocal arts and the richness of Folk and Tribal traditions, she expanded her musical language to embrace Jazz, Blues, Pop, Classical, and Musical Theatre. After earning her diploma in New York City, Hanna developed a signature sound of her own—an evocative Indie-Jazz crossover distinguished by warmth, depth, and emotional elegance.
Hanna has performed at some of New York’s most iconic venues, including Birdland Jazz Club and The Bitter End, and has appeared at renowned folk clubs in London. Her artistry has also been recognized through her work as a producer and with the Best * Duet Performance Award at LET’S Broadway NYC, affirming her reputation as a captivating and versatile live performer.
